The Go Kart speedway in Kathu is a 750 metre long track. The track is open all day and there is also the option of racing under floodlights. The speedway has a drink stall. There is a large shaded seating area for spectators. Staff are helpful and there are a variety of machines to chose from.

The best options for children are the two seater karts which reach 60 km per hour and the kid kart which reaches 40km per hour. To ride the kid kart children need to be able to reach pedals, navigate the carts and follow directions. The instructors will take children on a trial run around the track to ensure they are capable. The drivers need to wear helmets. Seatbelts are not worn in go karts for safety reasons. This activity is not covered by insurance.
